What changes are you making
in response to Coronavirus?
We are observing Grocery/Farmers Market recommendations for sanitation and social distancing from the Department of Health on farm and during pickups.
Detailed information safety has been and will be communicated directly with membership via email.
Frequently asked questions:
What are the risks? What are your farms doing?
There is no evidence of food as a vector for COVID19. And each of our sites has a specific COVID19 safety plan.
What are your safety protocols?
In addition to our usual food safety protocols, we have heightened our sanitation practices - this includes new hand washing stations and frequent sanitizing of surfaces in the barn as well as daily health checks and easily accessible masks/sanitizer for staff.
Will you deliver beyond City of Ithaca/Village of Trumansburg limits?
No, our delivery limits are the same as always
Will you have produce?
Yes, we are growing food!
What if circumstances worsen and the Governor imposes more restrictions?
Just as in the spring, we do not anticipate new restrictions to be a problem in getting you food!
Farms and agricultural workers are considered essential workers, as are food delivery drivers so we should not have an issue in getting food to people through the duration.
