Get Involved!

A healthy food system is supported by a healthy community, and vice versa!  There are so many meaningful and enriching ways that we can participate in our local food systems.

The Youth Farm Project
The Youth Farm Project at 3 Swallows Farm, one of Full Plate's founding farms, is always looking for volunteers to help the youth farmers grow food and learn about food justice. Bring your water bottle, sun protection, and hand tools and join them! Learn more about volunteer opportunities at or email them at [email protected]

Healthy Food for All Harvest Dinners
Food servers, flower arrangers, and dish washers are always needed at our Harvest Dinners. Have fun, connect with people in our community, and help raise funds so that low income families can have access to organic produce! Contact HFFA at [email protected]

(Summer Only) We offer a limited number of work trades in exchange for a CSA share. Working members work about 5 hours/week throughout the 23 week season. They either work in the U-Pick garden at Stick & Stone or help with distribution on farm pickup days. This is a great way to contribute to our local foods community and increase your access to delicious fresh fruits and vegetables!

Email Molly to apply.

Our coordinator, Molly, puts together a weekly newsletter for members.  It includes recipes, updates on farm happenings, announcements about events, and more.

U-Pick Crops

Stick and Stone Farm and Three Swallows Farm each host a variety of U-Pick crops during the growing season, including cut flowers, herbs, cherry tomatoes, and more.  Check the newsletter for weekly updates on what's available this week and where.

Cooking Classes

The Full Plate Farm Collective offers cooking classes that celebrate fresh fruits and vegetables with nutritious, simple and sensational recipes.  Classes  end in a family style meal to celebrate the fruits of our labor.
