2020 U-PICK SAFETY GUIDELINES

ALL MEMBERS MUST FOLLOW THESE SAFETY GUIDELINES IN ORDER FOR US TO CONTINUE OFFERING THE U-PICK SPACE

respectful use

DO NOT come to the farm if you are displaying symptoms of COVID-19 or any contagious illness, or have come in contact with someone who has.
If we see you displaying symptoms, you will be asked to leave.

Wear a mask if others are in the u-pick

No pets allowed!

social distancing

Maintain a 6-foot physical distance from everyone who is not in your group
The u-picks are spacious and open air - this should not be hard!!
Families, including children must stay close together

safe harvesting

Sanitize your hands at entry and/or wear gloves

Bring your own containers

Bring your own scissors
we will not be providing communal scissors this season

Harvest what you touch!


STICK AND STONE U-PICK

There are 3 (!!) u-picks at Stick & Stone:


ROADSIDE GARDEN - west of the barn (to the left of the barn when looking from the road)

PERENNIAL GARDEN - northwest of the Roadside, cut through the roadside or follow the path to the side

BEHIND THE BARN - the first field behind the barn until you hit the big Elderberry bushes

what's in it?

FLOWERS 

(zinnias, snapdragons, marigolds, cosmos, etc)

HERBS 
(many! basil, parsley, cutting celery, oregano, bee balm, mint etc)
FRUITS 
(currants, elderberries, and raspberries)
VEGGIES ...
PEPPERS (hot, spicy, and sweet!)
TOMATOES (sauce, cherry, stuffing, reds and ground cherries)
GREENS (amaranth, chrysanthemum, molokhia)
PEAS (southern peas, snap peas & snow peas)
...okra, rhubarb, tomatillos and more!



YOUTH FARM U-PICK

FULL PLATE U-PICK - just to the left of the parking lot across the street from the barn (slightly uphill).

All the plants in this garden are annuals and could not be planted until all danger of frost has passed, therefore things wont be ready to harvest here until later in the season.


DO NOT HARVEST FROM ANYWHERE ELSE ON THE FARM the Youth Farm is a running farm with their own crops
