Visit the u-pick gardens at Stick and Stone Farm and the Youth Farm Project at Three Swallows Farm.

2020 U-PICK SAFETY GUIDELINES

respectful use

DO NOT come to the farm if you are displaying symptoms of COVID-19 or any contagious illness, or have come in contact with someone who has.

safe harvesting

Bring your own containers & scissors
we will not be providing communal scissors this season

Wash/sanitize before you start picking and harvest what you touch

social distancing

Maintain a 6-foot physical distance from everyone who is not in your group. 

Have a mask on you at all times and wear whenever 6' distance isn't possible
(as per NY COVID-19 guidance dated April 17, 2020: https://on.ny.gov/2yyPqej)

The u-picks are spacious and open air - this should not be hard!!

STICK AND STONE U-PICK

There are THREE u-picks at Stick & Stone:


ROADSIDE GARDEN - west of the barn (to the left of the barn when looking from the road)

PERENNIAL GARDEN - northwest of the Roadside, cut through the roadside or follow the path to along the side of the roadside garden

BEHIND THE BARN - the first field behind the barn until you hit the big Elderberry bushes

what's in it?

FLOWERS (roadside)

zinnias, snapdragons, marigolds, cosmos, more!

HERBS (perennial; behind the barn)
many! basil, parsley, cutting celery, oregano, bee balm, mint, etc
FRUITS (behind the barn)
currants, elderberries, black raspberries and and raspberries
PEAS (roadside)
VEGGIES (behind the barn)
PEPPERS - hot, spicy, and sweet!
TOMATOES - sauce, cherry, stuffing, reds and ground cherries
GREENS - amaranth, chrysanthemum, molokhia
...plus okra, rhubarb, tomatillos and more!



YOUTH FARM U-PICK

FULL PLATE U-PICK - just to the left of the parking lot across the street from the barn (slightly uphill).

All the plants in this garden are annuals and could not be planted until all danger of frost has passed, therefore things wont be ready to harvest here until later in the season.


DO NOT HARVEST FROM ANYWHERE ELSE ON THE FARM the Youth Farm is a running farm with their own crops
