U-PICK GARDENS

We welcome all members to join us on the farm by visiting the u-pick gardens at Stick and Stone Farm and the Youth Farm Project at Three Swallows Farm. 

   

The u-picks are open 7 days a week during daylight hours

   Help yourself - don't forget scissors and a container

   Please NO DOGS


If you'd like a tour come during Wednesday pick up at Stick and Stone or Saturday pick up at the Youth Farm and Molly will show you around

There are 3 (!!) u-picks at Stick & Stone:


ROADSIDE GARDEN - west of the barn (to the left of the barn when looking from the road)

PERENNIAL GARDEN - northwest of the Roadside, cut through the roadside or follow the path to the side

BEHIND THE BARN - the first field behind the barn until you hit the big Elderberry bushes

what's in it?

FLOWERS 

(zinnias, snapdragons, marigolds, cosmos, etc)

HERBS 
(many! basil, parsley, cutting celery, oregano, bee balm, mint etc)
FRUITS 
(currants, elderberries, and raspberries)
VEGGIES ...
PEPPERS (hot, spicy, and sweet!)
TOMATOES (sauce, cherry, stuffing, reds and ground cherries)
GREENS (amaranth, chrysanthemum, molokhia)
PEAS (southern peas, snap peas & snow peas)
...okra, rhubarb, tomatillos and more!


YOUTH FARM U-PICK

FULL PLATE U-PICK - just to the left of the parking lot across the street from the barn (slightly uphill).

All the plants in this garden are annuals and could not be planted until all danger of frost has passed, therefore things wont be ready to harvest here until later in the season.


YOUTH FARM COMMUNITY U-PICK - directly behind the parking lot and full of herbs! open by appointment - pick for a small donation to the Youth Farm - NOT free and unlimited to members!
